1. Effective 1 December 2005, all holders of Cayman Islands passports will require a visa to enter Jamaica
2. All applications must be made in person

4. Visa applications will normally be processed within 24 hours

Applying for a Jamaican Visa

Requirements:

• A completed application form, click here to download the form
• One recent full face colour photograph with a white background
• Passport with validity of no less than three (3) months and one clear page to stamp a visa
• Police Record for applicants 18 years and older

Caymanian Passport Only Holder Requirements:

• Must apply in PERSON
• A valid passport
• One passport size photo (taken within the last 6 months)
• Police clearance for applicants 18 - 79 years old
• If immediate family member is Jamaican, submit birth and/or marriage certificate

Processing time:

• Approximately 24 hours (applications submitted on Friday will be ready on Monday afternoon)

Cost:

• Payment should be made in the form of a LOCAL BANK Draft for US $102.40 and made payable to the Jamaican Consulate

Applying for a Jamaican Visitors Visa

General Requirements:

• A valid passport
• Valid work permit/reentry or Residency or Status STAMPED IN PASSPORT
• One passport size photo taken in the last 6 months

Processing time:

• Approximately 24 hours

Cost:

• One entry only Visa - CI $50.00
• Multiple entries within a limited time Visa - CI $100.00
