Special Concession to Jamaican Residents working in Cayman, Trade Board Limited

Returning residents under the current roll-over policy institured by the Cayman Government are hereby advised that they will be allowed to bring home their Motor Vehicles, provided that the model year is not older than year 2000 and the vehicle is imported during the calendar year 2007.

All applications are the importation of vehicles into Jamaica must be submitted on the prescribed form accompanied by the following supporting documents:

• Letter addressed to the trade administrator requesting approval of an import permit
• Letter from the Cayman Immigration indicating that your work permit will not be renewed
• Ownership document for the vehicle
• Caymanian insurance loss certificate where the vehicle was bought as salvaged or flood damaged
• TRN
• Valid Identification
• The prescribed application fee
